WelcomeWelcome to the Archdiocese of Gulu. Welcome to the Website of the Archdiocese of Gulu - Uganda. The Archdiocese of Gulu is located in Northern Uganda, and covers the three civil administrative districts of Gulu, Kitgum and Pader. It spans an area of about 27,946 sq km with a population of about 1,400,000 people.
ParishesThe Archdiocese of Gulu has twenty three parishes in two Vicariates, with each vicariate comprising of two deaneries. For the list of parishes and parish priest, click on the link below Justice and PeaceThe quest for peace has a prominent place in the ministry of the Archdiocese of Gulu, given that peace has eluded the people in Northern Uganda for more than two decades. The humanitarian crisis that has resulted continues to challenge the pastoral ministry of the Archdiocese. In a special way, the Justice and Peace Commission of the Archdiocese, together with CARITAS Gulu coordinate the efforts of the Archdiocese in search for peace. Religious CommunitiesThe Archdiocese of Gulu is served by both the Diocesan Clergy and Religious communities in meeting the pastoral needs of the people in northern Uganda.
